The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Amazing Colossal Episode Guide
It's BAAAAAAAAAACK!
With a Kickstarter campaign that touched many of us in places we didn't know we could be touched, Joel Hodgson and the bots have 14 new episodes on the way. Of course that means this book will be even more incomplete, however colossal it may still be.
I did not read through every episode description, sticking to the various forewords, introductions, prefaces, introduction to the preface, etc. It was bitter and cynical and lacked coherence, but being in the shadow of imminent cancellation will do that to people. Also, it was really funny that way.
The book is a lot of fun, and, lacking an index, forces you to revisit more of the horrors that were the films aired on the Satellite of Love. What I most wish for is that this group of writers will get together again, no matter what obstacles there may be. The new cast and writers of MST3K will likely do a fine job, but I'm gonna miss Mike and Pearl and Trace and Kevin and the rest of the gang.
