Escape to Witch Mountain
This is another "if" book. If I had read 'Escape to Witch Mountain' when I was a kid, I would have liked it a lot better. How to rate the book having read it as a jaded adult? Average. The story has too many holes and the odd similarity between the elfin orphlings of this book and Jon in 'The Forgotten Door' diminishes my respect for Key's creativity. Not that all aliens couldn't be super-pretty innocents with psionic powers, but eh.
I prefer my memories of the 1995 TV movie.
