Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 5

Ultimate Spider-Man, Vol. 5 - Brian Michael Bendis, Mark Bagley

Spider-Man faces up against a coalition of enemies he'd thought he was finished with: the Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Electro, Kraven and the Sandman. It was originally published as 'Ultimate Six', a limited-run series, but since it's essentially a Spider-Man story, it fits well here.

I couldn't place when this was supposed to take place since Dr. Pym (Giant Man) plays a relatively big part here and is still on (again, relatively) good terms with his teammates and Jan. My guess is maybe half-way through Ultimates 1? I suppose it doesn't matter, it was cool to see the Ultimates (even limitedly) in action.

I liked the Hollywood arc too, another case of just how hard-up Peter Parker is as a teenage superhero without much in the way of funds. A neat tie-in with the first movie that was then being made (and being eclipsed as I write with a reboot that goes to show how bad an idea it was to put eyeliner on Toby Maguire).
