Grasp of the Emerald Claw by Bruce R. Cordell

Grasp of the Emerald Claw (Eberron Campaign Setting (D&D): Adventures) - Bruce R. Cordell

Following the side-quest chockablock full of "cinematic" high-speed encouters across the face of Khorvaire, our party of adventurers are sent word from their patron. They arrive to find that the Emerald Claw have stolen the schema pieces they'd already recovered and are on their way to complete the pattern - to what end?

The traveler's must head out to 'Xen'drick', ancient home of the Giants and Elves and shattered millennia ago by a great civil war and ended by intervention with the God-like dragons. The continent is mysterious, unpredictable, and dangerous.

This had a great underwater battle, a 'Heart of Darkness'-esque river expedition, and the final temple - at giant-scale - was a pain in the ass to grid out, but worth it. This was a great deal of fun. With a fairly satisfying conclusion.

From this point there are only two other 3.5 published adventures for Eberron - only one of which follows the level progression. I chose to alter the 'Eyes of the Lich Queen' instead, rewriting encounters to reflect a higher level party because it was awesome and big. The proper sequel is probably 'Voyage of the Golden Dragon' which is meant for level 7 characters.
